From 12th to 27th June 2010, nature lovers can visit the Museum of Natural History in Florence, where the exhibition entitled "The World of Ferns. The collection
of the Botanic Garden " will be set up: hundreds of fern specimens from all over
the world are the elements that enrich this collection.
Until July 18, 2010 at Palazzo Strozzi there will be an exhibition that is a real gem among all the 2010 events in
Florence: artworks by De Chirico, Rene Magritte, Balthus, Max Ernst, Carlo Carra
and Giorgio Morandi can be admired by all lovers of Surrealism.
Throughout the month of August (until October 17, 2010) it will be possible to
go to the Uffizi Gallery and the Galleria Palatina in Palazzo Pitti for the "Caravaggio and Caravaggeschi" exhibition, whose focus is on works by
Caravaggio, some of them well known and some others less known.
On August 30, 2010 will be the last day to visit the works by Gunther Stilling
shown at Fiesole (Florence) in the E Area at the Civic Archaeological Museum: his works are bronze
and marble made and they fit well into the archaeological context where they are
exposed thanks to their monumental style. |
